GALLIANI - KAKA IS STAYING AT MILAN
Kaka - staying at the San Siro. GALLIANI - KAKA IS STAYING AT MILAN
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists there is no agreement for Chelsea to sign Kaka in the future.
On Monday Andriy Shevchenko completed his return to the San Siro after two disappointing seasons at Stamford Bridge and it was reported the Blues now have an option to bring Kaka to London as part of the deal.
However Milan have rejected the rumours, stating the Brazilian playmaker was not mentioned during the discussions over Shevchenko’s transfer.
“With Shevchenko we never, never talked about Kaka so fans should stay calm,” Galliani told reporters.
“We have said it again and again in the last two years (that he will not leave.)”
Galliani now believes the club have done everything in their power to win the Scudetto.
Milan have confirmed Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is having a medical at the club, a day after they brought Shevchenko back to the club.
Brazil star Ronaldinho was another big name recruit and Galliani claims coach Carlo Ancelotti now has all the tools he needs to challenge bitter rivals Internazionale for the Serie A title.
“I believe that Ancelotti must be very happy with the market, and now they are his problem because he has to win the Scudetto,” he said.
“It’s a title-winning squad and our coach knows that. That doesn’t mean that we can’t also lose it, but of course we have to fight until the last day.”
However, Ancelotti will not be able to test out his new look Milan side immediately as Galliani revealed that Senderos is not fully fit.
He added: “We will only be able to have him available in 10 days because he has a small physical problem.”
